CHARACTER QUESTIONNAIRE ABOUT APPLICANT TO THE MINNESOTA BAR

Your name has been provided to the Board of Law Examiners as a person with knowledge of an applicant who has applied for admission to practice law in Minnesota. The Board is required to investigate each applicant’s character and fitness. A personal letter from you giving your complete and frank evaluation of the applicant would be of maximum value. However, the Board is keenly aware of the time commitment that such a letter would entail and of the applicant’s interest in prompt completion of the processing of the application. For this reason, we are providing a Character Questionnaire (CQ) for you to complete. If you would prefer to send a letter addressing the questions, please email it to CQ@mbcle.state.mn.us and include the CQ Code listed below in your letter.
